Susannah Hardy

Originally an actor, Susannah completed a Bachelor of Arts before running away to study theatre in Paris. Back in Australia, her work has involved anything from film and television roles to being one of two singing/rollerblading Carmen Mirandas, Tutti & Frutti, and creating sketch comedy for Foxtel. During this time, Susannah discovered a passion for writing, in particular women’s contemporary fiction and now loves to create stories about the comic side of life and love. Susannah lives in Sydney with her husband and two daughters and works part time as an eCommerce writer at news.com.au.

Susannah’s debut novel is a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy called Loving Lizzie March and was published by Pan Macmillan Australia in 2021.

This is followed by Susannah’s second novel, My Hot Housemate, published by Hawkeye Publishing on 13 April 2025. This enemies-to-lovers rom com follows the journey of actress Indie Matheson as she is forced to house-sit (and dog sit) with the handsome yet intolerable Jeremy Taylor.
