Sourcebooks USA recently scheduled You Girls Play Nice by Karenlee Thompson writing as K D Aldyn for publication June 2026, but have a look here and here for information meanwhile.

FOUR FRIENDS. FOUR PLANS FOR REVENGE. ONE SECRET KILLER.

When Helen Wyatt is brutally murdered, her four best friends anxiously wait in the courtroom to ensure justice is served. But when her attacker is acquitted of all charges, the women
decide on revenge.

Hypothetically, of course.

The friends host a girls’ night, each presenting a different way they would kill the culprit to avenge Helen. It’s a silly thing, a way to ease their grief. Until a murder is discovered that
mirrors one of their imagined killings. Then another. What started as a cathartic exercise soon ends in carnage, with suspicion quickly falling on the four friends.

Someone has discovered their secrets. And now, the women will have to hunt down the person framing them for murder. Or, even more chillingly, question who among them may be
capable of being a killer themselves …

Sister Butcher Sister by Karenlee Thompson writing as K D Aldyn was published by Sourcebooks USA on 3rd June 2025 and is now available in all the usual places.

The chilling prose of Karin Slaughter meets the high-stakes plotting of The Butcher and the Wren in a dark debut following three normal sisters, their own forgotten traumas, and the serial killer that lives within one, begging the question: can you ever truly recognize the evil around you?

Three sisters. One killer. Which one is SHE?

The Rowling sisters have always been people you can understand – with partners and children, homes and dreams. And secrets, the sisters have those too. But when Kate, the eldest, finally returns to buy her late grandfather’s home, the dark things each sister has kept buried soon rise to the surface.

Is Kate having unexplained visions tied to a past she can hardly recall? Is Aurora, the married mother of two, finally acting out in the face of her sisters’ indiscretions? Is Peggy, the youngest and a recovering addict, able to move on from the memories that haunt her?

And then there’s SHE.

SHE is one of them, but SHE is not like them at all. SHE is defined only by the carnage she lets the world see, the murders that have swept through their coastal community. And as the police close in on their newest serial killer, scrutiny lands on the Rowlings, forcing them to face their demons and reveal all they have kept hidden.
